July 18, 2023 The Regular Meeting of Mayor and Council of Blue Springs, Nebraska, was held starting at 7:00 PM, July 18, 2023, at the Blue Springs City Hall. Mayor Meyer called the meeting to order, and roll call was taken. Notice of the hearing/meeting was simultaneously given to the Mayor and all members of the City Council and a copy of their acknowledgment of receipt and agenda are placed on file. Availability of the agenda was communicated in the advance notice and in the advance notice to the Mayor and City Council of the hearing/meeting. BRIDGE/NORTH SIDE APPROACH (BY CITY PARK/ DETERMINATION OF BRIDGE OWNERSHIP: Pending bridge inspection, with return to agenda at that time. JOHNSON SERVICE COMPANY: STUDY OF “LINING” COST: Estimations were given on mobilization cost and per foot basis. Actual repair location and cost are both to be determined, and fund transfers to be authorized at the next Regular meeting. FIRE DEPARTMENT/CAR SHOW (STREET CLOSING/DONATIN REQUEST (TOM CREEK): Motion (Sedlacek), second (Reedy), followed by a 4-0 affirmative vote to allow closing of the street from ‘A’ to Johnson for the Annual Car Show on August 12 - (with stipulations for customer parking at back of Barber Shop, and other as may apply (as Bank, ), as well as a donation of $950 from City authorized for the Bounce House and Mechanical Bull activity cost at the event. Also, City will send out Tractor Show Display notification to previous participants on record.
