The Regular Meeting of Mayor and Council was held on January 2, 2013, in the Blue Springs City Hall, Blue Springs, NE.

PRESENT: Mayor Meyer, Council members Mewes, Neumann, Wolf
ABSENT: Council member Reedy
OTHER ATTENDEES: Mike Pike

Notice of the meeting/hearing was given in advance by posting in at least three public places as shown by the certificate of posting placed on file. Notice of the hearing/meeting was simultaneously given to the Mayor and all members of the City Council and a copy of their acknowledgment of receipt and agenda are placed on file. Availability of the agenda was communicated in the advance notice and in the advance notice to the Mayor and City Council of the hearing/meeting. Proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened hearing/meeting was open to public attendance.


At 7:30 PM, Mayor Meyer called the Regular meeting to order and roll call was taken. A motion was made by Council member Wolf, seconded by Mewes, and followed by a 3-0 affirmative vote to approve as sent the Dec. 18, 2012 Regular meeting minutes. After review of claims, a motion was made by Council member Neumann, seconded by Mewes, and followed by a 3-0 affirmative vote to approve claims as follows: Auto-Bank - Internal Revenue Service (941) - $1,723.54; Salaries - $2,566.66; Arbor State - $113.74; City of Wymore (Tower/Individual) - $3,433.35; Constellation Energy - $53.76; Gilmore & Associates (NBCS/Lane Miles) - $96.00; Eldon Izer (Tel. Comp.) - $5.00; NE Dept of Rev. (941N) - $191.50; NDHHS - (Phase 2 - Broad Street Main Project) - $400.00; NDHHS - (Additional Review Fee - Phase 1 - Broad Street Main Project) - $35.11; NE Pub. Health Environ. Lab. - $14.00; Norris Public Power - $1,293.74; Milton Pike - (Tel. Comp.) -$25.00; Milton Pike (Health Ins. Comp.) - $426.38; Security First Bank (Pike - IRA) - $55.00; Shell - $549.30; Wymore Oil Company - $369.84; TOTAL CLAIMS: $ 11,351.92.


PLANNING & ZONING: No new business.


DESIGNATE PUBLIC HEARING DATE FOR: ONE AND SIX YEAR PLAN: Determination was made to schedule the Public Hearing for the One and Six Year Plan for during the first Regular meeting in February 2013 (2/5/13). Publication and posting to meet requirements will follow.
