An Emergency Meeting was called by Mayor Lonnie Meyer due to the fact that a quorum of the City Council of Blue Springs could not be reached, an available date for a special meeting could not be determined in which a quorum of the City Council members would be present in the near future or at the next regularly scheduled meeting, and payroll and claims need to be paid.
PRESENT: Mayor Meyer, Council members Carmichael, Mewes, Reedy (by teleconference)
ABSENT; Council member Neumann
OTHER ATTENDEES: Employee Mike Pike, Connie Mewes, Tim Brown
At 7:30 PM, Mayor Meyer called the Emergency meeting to order and roll call was taken.
After review: Motion, second and vote (Mewes, Carmichael, 3-0 affirmative) to approve claims as follow: Bank-Direct - Internal Revenue (941) - 1,419.15; Salaries - $5,801.18; Constellation Energy - $9.02; DHHS, Licensure Unit - $115.00; NE Dept. of Rev (501N) - $179.00; NE Pub Health Eviron Labs - $15.00; Norris Public Power - $1,317.74; Milton Pike (Tel Comp.) - $25.00; Krystal Rutti (Met Dep. Ref.) - $8.59 & $33.24 - (O/P); Security First Bank (Pike - IRA) - $55.00; Shell -- $200.01; Willet & Carothers - $310.00; Windstream - $84.49; Milford Woutzke - (Tel. Comp.) - $5.00 - T0TAL CLAIMS : $9,577.42.
