• November 4, 2025 Regular Session: 7:00 PM - Blue Springs City Hall --Mayor Sedlacek called the meeting to order, and roll call was taken. PRESENT: Mayor Sedlacek, Council members Neumann, Rainey, Reedy, Riensche ABSENT: OTHERS PRESENT: Verlyn Dodge Notice of the Hearing/Meeting was given in advance by posting in at least three public places as shown by the certificate of posting placed on file. Notice of the hearing/meeting was simultaneously given to the Mayor and all members of the City Council and a copy of their acknowledgment of receipt and agenda are placed on file. Availability of the agenda was communicated in the advance notice and in the advance notice to the Mayor and City Council of the hearing/meeting. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Motion (Neumann), second (Riensche), 4-0 affirmative vote to approve minutes of October 21 meeting. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS: Motion (Riensche), second (Neumann), 4-0 affirmative vote to approve claims as follow: Internal Revenue Service (941) - $1,164.02; Payroll: $2,644.10; Fairbury Journal-News - $73.84; Ideus Tree Service (Trees down ) $2,400.00; Municipal Supply - $229.47; NE Dept. of Revenue (501N) - $140.00; Temps Disposal Service (Mandatory) - $2,711.52; Milford Woutzke – (Tel. Comp.) - $25.00; City of Wymore (Tower) - $1,672.12; TOTAL CLAIMS: $11,060.07. . PLANNING & ZONING: APPLICATIONS FOR BUILDING PERMITS AS SUBMITTED: Motion (Riensche), second (Reedy), and 4-0 affirmative vote approved (after recommendation by P & Z Commission) application for building permit #25-5 for Jace Bowhay for a house being moved. DEMOLITION PROJECT: Trees are cut, and controlled burn expected to proceed as scheduled. CLEAN-UP/VEHICLE: No new information. VACATE ALLEY EASEMENT: NARRATIVE: No new information. WATER LINE PROJECTS: CDBG CONSIDERATIONS/PROJECT CHOICES/ETC.: No new information. SERVICE HOOK UP ASSESSMENTS: CONTINUED AS DETERMINED: New ordinance to be drafted. TREE/PARK BOARD FORMATION: CONTINUED AS DETERMINED: Board formation to begin with determination of five members. To be continued at the next Regular meeting. CABIN LANDSCAPING (IF FURTHER DISCUSSION NEEDED): No new information. To be returned to the agenda as per future determination.
