CLEAN-UP/VEHICLES: Per email from Carothers: Nuisance Properties - I was able to view the properties recently.  Here is what I observed. 1. property - beat up black four door sedan has been removed from the property and the property has been mowed.  Construction materials have been moved over by the shed.  There is a pick-up bed trailer on the property full of stuff…. Some improvement was noted by members. 2. property  - not much has been done to address the nuisance conditions.  I will get updated photos and get a complaint on file with the County Court… No improvement was noted by members. 3. property - no progress has been made to address the nuisance conditions. 4. property - I do not know what to think about this property.  Every time I drive by this property, the front lawn and back yard are cluttered with a lot of items, but it never seems to be the same junk.  Mayor, did you get an opportunity to talk to property owner?…. Reedy indicated he had talked to the property owner and gave suggestions, as a barrier to obstruct view of working area. Three courtesy clean-up letters were requested. LOCATE TICKETS (ACTIVITY SUPPORT): Information is expected (Riensche) regarding People Service guidelines/cost and Reedy will keep in contact with Valentine for expense comparison. LAGOON (GATE) – REEDY: Reedy indicated that the bordering property owner would like to put up a south gate to discourage entry, at owner expense/setup. This would have advantage to the City in reference to general trespass and illegal dumping. A motion by Rainey, second by Neumann, and a 3-0 affirmative vote approved the project requested by the adjoining property owner. Other: From Carothers email: Eric McMurry MicroTIF Application - application was sent to Andrew Willis and Alison Janecek-Borer at Cline Williams for review.  The application will need to be revised and Alison outlined what needs to be done.  I will get together with Eric McMurry upon my return and get a revised application completed so this project can move forward.  It is a little more involved than what the application suggests, but it will be good to go through it so we know what to expect and can advise re-developers appropriately. Other: Before the meeting got fully underway, Mayor Reedy presented Kevin Mittan and Carter Izer each with a $75 gift certificate from Mayor, Council and Papa B’s, this in great appreciation for volunteer, long-term clean-up/mowing of certain otherwise neglected properties.
